Travel Theme: Walls

I am digging these photography challenges!  They give me something to look forward to when I can’t get out and shoot new pictures.

Ailsa always has a fun prompt, and this week’s is Walls.  Check out her blog for her take and see what others have come up with, and maybe add yours as well!

Venice Faves (2010)

I know that Venice pics are readily available on google, so these are not “touristy Venice” pictures. It was overcast, wet, and generally dreary, and I loved That Venice. I don’t know if I would see it the same way on a sunny, comfortable day because the shadows and the decay were my favorite things about it. The weather only enhanced its mystique, and I can’t wait to go back. This is My Venice.

It rained one night, so there are raindrops on the next photos

You can see my umbrella in this pic!

Venice is THE BEST CITY IN THE WORLD to photograph decay, so needless to say, I was in photo-ecstasy!

There are more photos in my gallery if you care to look.
